Fanny Mothes, the founder of Oma Design, is a fashion designer by training.

Driven by the desire to write a new story with the textile material that marked her debut, Fanny naturally turned to her passion: design.

Her taste for the inventiveness of the 1960s and the purity of Scandinavian design, her attraction to the warmth of wood and the delicacy of the thread naturally led her to the creation of sculptural lights imbued with lightness.

Each piece is unique, the result of patient and delicate craftsmanship.

From the digital cutting of the wood in a workshop in Gironde to the assembly and weaving by Fanny herself in her workshop in Bayonne, all the manufacturing stages are carried out by hand in New Aquitaine using materials noble and natural.
